Job summary

Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan is opening new Houses in Prince Albert and Regina and seeks a Family Service & Programs Associate to support families from the first call through daily stays.

You may start by coordinating referrals with hospital social workers, welcoming families, and connecting them with programs, resources, and supports. Strong communication and compassionate care are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Social Work or related field preferred.
• Experience handling complex or sensitive situations with respectful communication.
• Strong situational judgment and fast-moving environment adaptation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and databases while handling confidential data.
• Driver's license and rotating schedule availability.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for families, providing a welcoming, supportive experience throughout their stay.
• Coordinate family referrals and admissions with social workers, nurses, medical teams, and other healthcare professionals.
• Welcome families, complete documentation, provide house orientations, and communicate expectations and resources.
• Maintain accurate and confidential family records and related documentation.
• Support House tours, community engagement and RMHC events as required.
