Job summary

Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan seeks a Development Associate to lead fundraising events and community initiatives across Saskatchewan. You will coordinate signature events, campaigns and other initiatives, working with sponsors, donors, volunteers and partners to turn ideas into impactful outcomes.

You will nurture donor relationships, research new opportunities, and manage budgets while ensuring accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in business, marketing, communications, fundraising, event management or a related field.
• Experience taking ownership of projects, events or initiatives from planning through execution.
• Strong ability to engage donors, sponsors, businesses and community partners by phone, email and in-person.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting at events and meetings.
• Highly organized with attention to detail across multiple events and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate signature events, annual campaigns and community fundraisers from planning through execution.
• Manage event logistics, timelines, sponsorship coordination, vendors, volunteers and on-site execution.
• Monitor budgets, track expenses and revenue, and maintain fundraising records.
• Evaluate outcomes and ROI to strengthen future initiatives.
• Develop relationships with donors, sponsors and community partners and secure gifts and sponsorships.
• Identify new fundraising opportunities to increase revenue and participation.
• Represent RMH Saskatchewan at events and tours for prospective donors and partners.
• Collaborate across RMH Saskatchewan to promote fundraising campaigns and social media activities.
