Health Match BC seeks 2 part-time or 1 full-time family physician to join an existing physician in Port Alberni, in a bright, new building with MOA support. This role offers potential to form a group practice with other co-located physicians and uses MedAccess EMR.

Port Alberni is launching a new Primary Care Network to provide additional supports, including nursing in practice and a pharmacist for polypharmacy concerns.

Job description

Role and Facility Information

Family Practice clinic in Port Alberni is looking for 2 part-time or 1 full-time practice partners to join an existing family physician at their well-established family practice, located in a bright, new building in Port Alberni. Above average income with below average overheads, and professional, long-serving MOA staff are there to provide support to physicians and patients. Chance to form a group practice, as there are other physicians co-located in the same office. Practice runs MedAccess EMR. Port Alberni is coming online with a new Primary Care Network to offer additional supports to area clinics that participate, including nursing in practice and a visiting pharmacist to cover polypharmacy concerns.

May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:

• Recruitment Incentive: $10,000 (full-time)
• Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)
  
  

Fee Premium: 7.98%

• Annual Flat Fee: $12,366.72
• Rural CME: starting at $2,200.00/annum in year 3 & 4 to a maximum of $4,400.00/annum after 4 years
