Job description

We invite applications for a locum Pediatrician in Port Alberni providing carefor local pediatric patients and to residents of First Nations communities in Ucluelet, Nitinat, Ahousaht and Opitsalt.

The West Coast General Hospital in Port Alberni is a modern, well equipped 75 bed community hospital with 56 acute (3 ICU) and 32 multilevel beds and 24-hour emergency room services. Port Alberni has an average 300 births per year and the hospital provides a wide array of services to a regional population of 32,000.

Our congenial medical community enjoys a full complement of Family Physicians along with specialist colleagues in anesthesiology, general surgery, obstetrics/ gynecology, urology, internal medicine, psychiatry and radiology.
