Compensation is fee-for-service with estimated remuneration of $350,000+ and overhead negotiable; housing assistance may be available from the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality.

Role and Facility Information

Northern Health is seeking a Family Physician with full scope skills/experience to join a well established family medicine clinic and also provide Emergency Room coverage in Fort Nelson BC, a community of 3,400. Fort Nelson General Hospital is a 22 bed integrated Acute Care and multi-level care facility.

Housing assistance may be available from the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality.

Fort Nelson is located at Historical Mile 300 of the world-famous Alaska Highway, and is the largest community in the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality. The community has excellent year-round recreational facilities, indoor and outdoor.
