Job summary

Northern Health Authority in Fort Nelson, BC is seeking a Family Physician with full-scope skills to join a well-established family medicine clinic and provide Emergency Room coverage at Fort Nelson General Hospital, a 22-bed integrated Acute Care and multi-level facility. CPSBC License can be Provisional or Full, and housing assistance may be available from the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality.

Qualifications

• CPSBC license can be provisional or full.
• Experience in full-scope family medicine and ER coverage encouraged.
• Rural community practice experience preferred.

Fort Nelson General Hospital is a 22 bed integrated Acute Care and multi-level care facility. CPSBC License can be Provisional or Full.

Housing assistance may be available from the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality.

Fort Nelson is located at Historical Mile 300 of the world-famous Alaska Highway, and is the largest community in the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality. The community has excellent year-round recreational facilities, indoor and outdoor.
