Health Match BC in Quesnel, BC, seeks a 1.0 FTE family physician to join a well-supported, multi-physician clinic with on-call ED coverage at GR Baker Memorial Hospital. New to practice physicians are welcome, with extensive community supports and relocation assistance.

The role offers flexible practice options, opportunities for intrapartum obstetrics, anesthesia and oncology training funding, plus RSA incentives and relocation support to help you settle into rural BC life.

• Offer optional involvement in intrapartum obstetrics, FP anesthesia, FP oncology (training funding available).
• Assist with other services as optional (surgical assists, OAT clinic shifts).

Northern Health is recruiting a 1.0 FTE, full service family physician to a well-supported, multi-physician medical clinic as well as on-call ED coverage at GR Baker Memorial Hospital in Quesnel. The Emergency Department enjoys excellent experienced peer support, onsite Critical Care & General Surgery coverage (24/7 Internal Medicine) as well as FP Anesthesia backup. Radiology & Diagnostic services include but are not limited to onsite 24/7 access to; CT, U/S, XR and Laboratory services.

The team would love to add a family practitioner who would be interested in providing Intrapartum Obstetrics, FP Anesthesia, FP Oncology (training funding available), surgical assists, OAT clinic shifts (training funding available) however these are optional.

We welcome NEW to practice physicians and have several supports available to ensure that your transition into the community and practice is as smooth and as enjoyable as possible.

GR Baker Memorial Hospital is a 47 bed acute care facility. Services on-site include:

• Internal medicine
• Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Otolaryngology
• General Surgery
• Psychiatry
• Community Cancer Clinic

GR Baker recently completed a 27 million dollar expansion to the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. This has improved patient flow, access to imaging and labs, security, privacy & confidentiality, and the alignment of critical care services and staff between the ED and ICU.
