Responsibilities
PRIMARY
- Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth, meeting patient volume goals for telehealth and in-patient care as determined.
- Lead clinic staff in behaviors, actions, and attitudes (e.g., X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, Front Office Specialists) to deliver excellent patient care. Provide guidance as necessary to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
- Perform responsibilities outlined in the SCRIBE job description.
- Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
- Ask patients situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance to ensure quality care and patient satisfaction.
- Engage with clinical leadership, escalating to management when appropriate to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns, aligning with company values.
- Meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in-patient care as determined.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient charts and forwarding as appropriate daily. Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees.
- Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and Supervising Physicians.
- Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop diagnoses.
- Deliver excellent patient care through in-patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, focusing on patient-centric care, safety, cost, and accuracy.
- Ensure activities comply with overall department expectations and regulations, including HIPAA and other health information management issues.
- Work efficiently in fast-paced, autonomous environments within both clinical and virtual settings.
- Manage telehealth queues promptly to ensure proper patient follow-up.
- Order, perform, interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications responsibly, and educate patients on treatment and care of conditions.
- Follow clinical practice guidelines by the Office of Medical Affairs.
- Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and complete E/M training.
- Perform responsibilities within standard NP protocols.
- Complete all mandatory compliance training to ensure quality of care.

- Contribute ideas to improve patient experience and care, within the clinic and telehealth leadership.
- Communicate regularly with the team to support excellent patient care.
- Assist in onboarding new employees, including introductions, tours, and process overviews.
- Support training through shadowing, demonstrations, and coaching.
- Maintain confidence and credibility with all employees.
- Maintain friendly, cordial relations with clients and staff, fostering a positive work atmosphere.
- Perform physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental functions as specified.
- Comply with operational standards and promote confidentiality.
- Consult with patients via virtual channels.
- Proven experience as a Telehealth Clinician.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- PRN employees must work at least 4 shifts per month; full-time employees work 12-hour shifts every other weekend.

- Responsible for on-call duties periodically throughout the year.

- Level 1: New Grad with up to 1 year of experience.
- Level 2: Nurse practitioner with over 1 to less than 5 years of experience.
- Level 3: Nurse practitioner with over 5 to less than 10 years of experience.
- Level 4: Nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience.
Experience and Education Requirements
Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN)
Experience: 1-2 years in relevant practice (Urgent Care, ER, Trauma, Family Practice) preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Active and verifiable license and DEA; DEA required within 120 days if limited by years of practice.
- Ability to treat all ages; credentialing requirements met; DOT certification within 120 days of employment and maintained.
Education and License Requirements
Master’s Degree in Nursing; Family Nurse Practitioner License.
