Job description

Our Client is looking for a lawyer with at least 5 years of family law experience. The role involves handling a range of family law matters such as divorce, child custody, youth protection, adoption, successions, and domestic violence cases .

Key Responsibilities :

Draft legal documents and court filings.

Appear in court and represent clients.

Conduct client consultations.

Negotiate with opposing counsel.

Perform legal research.

Qualifications :

Member in good standing with the Quebec Bar.

Minimum 5 years of family law experience.

Strong knowledge of family law issues including divorce, custody, and support .

Experience in family law negotiations and litigation.

Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills in English and French (proficiency in English required for client communication).

Ability to manage multiple cases and work well under pressure.
