The candidate must have the following pre-qualifications to apply:

• Graduate from a Canadian university
• 2 or more years of family law clerk experience
• English as a first language
• Canadian resident
• Resides in downtown Toronto

Our law clerks are heavily involved in our clients’ case management, through intake sessions and ongoing communication, providing support and guidance through the legal process, working with counsel, court staff, teachers, doctors, assessors, mental health professionals and community agencies, drafting court documents to reflect the family history and future plans and, generally, supporting our clients’ lives from crisis to calm.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is hard-working, self-motivated, computer-literate, highly efficient, family-focused and interested in working with families, spouses and children who are experiencing marital conflict, marriage breakdown, domestic violence and other family crises.

Benmor Family Law Group is a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline-based law firm. We strongly believe in investing in our team members and helping them grow to achieve their potential through education, training and mentorship.

The position is in-office from 9 am to 6 pm.

Although the position is permanent and can lead to a generous salary, the first 3 months are a trial probationary period with a wage of $30 per hour based on a 40-hour work week. After the probation, the successful candidate will be offered a starting salary of $75,000 to $100,000 per year.
