Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Facility Technician to assist with operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial properties and equipment. The role covers buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance gear on site.

Responsibilities include servicing pumps and controls, installing and modifying equipment, and inspecting for safety hazards. Requires 2+ years in commercial property settings and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, painting, carpentry or engine repair

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems.
• Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wall paper, and paint walls, piping, floors and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, evaluate, and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations.
• Respond to emergency situations and customer service requests as assigned.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
