Job summary

Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario, invites applications for a Facility Coordinator who reports to the Facility Services Manager to supervise housekeeping, labour, and contracted services for events and tenants.

You will plan, coordinate, and supervise services, develop estimates, coach staff, monitor inspections, and manage timesheets and safety programs. A post-secondary background and 3+ years in event/facility coordination are required, along with a valid G licence.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in a discipline pertinent to the job function or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least three years’ experience in event or facility coordination.
Experience supervising staff in a unionized environment.
Possess a valid full G Class Ontario driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and supervise housekeeping and labour services for maintenance, events and tenants.
Develop estimates for housekeeping and labour services for events, tenants and internal projects.
Provide coaching to employees and ensure management expectations are met.
Coordinate and monitor inspection program to verify equipment is maintained and inspections conducted.
Verify and report employee timesheets for payroll.
