Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Pre-inspect handling equipment before use and maintain inspection logs.
• Safety operate and maintain handling equipment.
• Perform garbage removal for the plant and manage garbage bins and surrounding area.
• Load and unload parts, racks, crates and pallets securely to/from trucks.
• Manage hazardous waste and log pickups.
• Pickup and deliver acetone to recycler or recycling.
• Drain and decap drums as instructed.
• Perform plant cleaning as assigned.
• Assist maintenance team with material handling projects as required.
• Promote lean manufacturing and 5S programs for materials.
• Perform data entry duties as required.
• Maintain, organize, and clean the company yard when required.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary role of the Facility Person will be to support the maintenance department in maintaining all material handling duties, managing garbage, managing hazardous waste, manage cleaning, and support on special projects. Maintain a high standard in meeting our customer expectations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written as essential.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
