Job summary

A municipal government is seeking dedicated individuals for ongoing facilities maintenance and customer service roles. Responsibilities include cleaning and general housekeeping of town facilities, setup and teardown for events, and providing customer assistance. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience with cleaning equipment. Flexibility to work shifts as needed is essential. The position requires a Vulnerable Screening Sector due to access to vulnerable persons.

Qualifications

• Practical working knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Trained in WHMIS procedures for cleaning chemicals.
• Flexibility/availability for weekends and evening shifts.
• Current First Aid and CPR training would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning and housekeeping of town facilities.
• Facility setup and maintenance for user groups and events.
• Providing assistance and customer service to the public.
