In our clubs, our Custodians play a vital role. We pride ourselves on maintaining clean, aesthetically pleasing facilities for every visitor, and our custodial team helps deliver that first impression. Your typical workday will involve keeping our club looking its best, and meeting some of our members to ensure they leave with memorable Movati experiences they can’t wait to return for.

Availability: Full Time. Monday - Friday. Afternoons to closing. The role involves maintaining the women’s only area.

Role

Our Custodians are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the club, facilities, and surrounding areas. You will also:

• Ensure the club and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, sanitary, and timely manner
• Carry out routine building and grounds maintenance and inspection procedures
• Complete cleaning and custodial duties daily, in accordance with deadlines and considering club traffic flow and member expectations
• Escalate custodial, maintenance, or safety issues to the Facilities Services Manager for resolution
• Follow established WHMIS safety standards and Workplace Health & Safety policies to ensure the safety of all members, staff, and property

Qualifications

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors year-round in various weather conditions
• Capability to perform repetitive tasks involving sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
• Ability to lift medium to heavy objects
