Job summary

Century Mile Racetrack and Casino is seeking a dependable Facility Worker 2 to help keep our venue safe, clean, and well-maintained. You'll perform routine inspections, basic repairs, and grounds care while supporting a fast-paced gaming and entertainment environment.

Ideal candidates have strong work ethic, at least 5 years of maintenance or labour experience, the ability to lift heavy objects safely, and a high school diploma. English communication and safety focus are essential.

• Keep areas clean, safe, and organized for guests and staff.
• Complete Facility Inspection Reports accurately and on time.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Facility Worker, you’ll help keep our property running smoothly and looking its best. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Inspects equipment and facilities for proper operation and working conditions; maintains routine records and determines the type and extent of malfunction of equipment and, as necessary, adjusts, disassembles, and repairs or replaces parts or components. Reassembles and tests for proper operation. Reports more serious problems to the appropriate supervisors for instructions or maintenance scheduling.
• Maintaining the building and grounds: From snow removal to lawn care, power washing to garbage removal.
• Troubleshooting and fixing issues in and around the property.
• Keeping things clean, safe, and organized for guests and team members.
• Working independently and solving problems with confidence.
• Responsible for the safe and efficient completion of all Facility Inspection Reports
• Pitching in with other duties as needed.

• A team player with at least 5 years of maintenance or labour experience.
• Comfortable with physical tasks and able to lift heavy objects safely.
• A self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Great communication skills in English — both written and verbal.
• Someone who takes pride in their work and follows safe work practices.
• A high school diploma (or a mix of education and experience that fits).
• Must be able to pass a criminal record check.
