Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold a safe, clean, and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will help maintain community grounds, perform general repairs, and coordinate routine upkeep to support a preventative maintenance program.

The role requires 3–5+ years of painting and maintenance experience, strong English communication, and a proactive, high-energy team player attitude in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of painting and general maintenance experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.
• Energetic team player who stays flexible in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform outside custodial duties such as snow and ice removal from walkways.
• Repair and maintain inside and outside the building, including gardening and landscaping.
• Coordinate routine ground maintenance, parking areas, and driveways.
• Carry out routine repairs of building and equipment (drywall, carpentry, painting).
• Ensure preventative maintenance check sheets and schedules are followed.
• May perform housekeeping duties in high places and mechanical areas.
