Job summary

Church on the Queensway seeks a hands-on Working Supervisor to lead and support the Property & Facilities team in maintenance, repairs, and event setup. You will participate in production set building, and oversee facilities operations to support church services and events.

Responsibilities include coordinating contractors, maintaining building systems, equipment, and grounds, and responding to facility emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of facilities maintenance, construction, or property management experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of general building maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and construction.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with tools and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding and occasional after-hours work.
• Production set construction and carpentry experience is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Property & Facilities team in maintenance, repairs, construction, preventative maintenance, production set building, event setup, and general facility operations.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors to service and repair building systems and grounds.
• Support church services and special events, and oversee equipment and vehicles.
• Respond to facility emergencies as required and ensure safety standards are met.
