Job summary

Home Hardware is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to help maintain and operate our warehouse facilities and equipment. You will coordinate preventative maintenance schedules, respond to urgent maintenance requests, manage third-party contractors, and track operating costs.

You’ll report to the Facilities & Equipment Manager and work to keep facilities safe and efficient. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in facility coordination or related fields, strong vendor relationships, and CMMS/MS Office

Qualifications

• Certification in Building Operator Class 1 or PEMAC is required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in facility coordination, maintenance operations, or skilled trades.
• Experience processing, tracking, and reconciling POs, work orders, invoices, and related docs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS.
• Strong communication across all organizational levels.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly preventative maintenance schedules and coordinate with other distribution centres.
• Maintain spare parts and inventory for equipment.
• Maintain health and safety compliance records.
• Process requisitions to invoices and report costs vs budgets.
• Manage third-party maintenance programs per contracts.
• Provide input for budgets and maintenance tasks.
• Report on PM tasks and KPIs using CMMS tools.
• Assist in management during supervisors/manager absence.
• Cover building/equipment maintenance during critical times.
