City of Richmond Hill is seeking a seasoned Facilities Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of a multi-facility portfolio. You will supervise staff and external contractors, ensure preventive and demand maintenance, and oversee life safety, HVAC, electrical, and BAS systems across City facilities.

The role requires a 3-year engineering technologist diploma and at least 7 years of facility management experience with a strong QA background.

Formación

• 3 year Diploma in Engineering Technologist or related discipline.
• 7 years facility management experience with an established quality assurance program within a work environment including but not limited to pharmaceutical manufacturing, hospital, healthcare, or data centre is considered an asset.
• Preventative building maintenance experience.

Responsabilidades

• Manage, prioritize, and delegate facility maintenance work orders for over 60 City facilities.
• Oversee the establishment of operating policies and procedures.
• Supervise staff and external contractors to ensure work is completed according to plan and safety regulations.
• Coordinate hazardous waste disposal for identified sites.
• Develop and monitor the Section's performance metrics and budgets.

Educación

3 year Diploma in Engineering Technologist or related discipline

7 years facility management experience with an established quality assurance program
