Job summary

The Salvation Army Toronto Harbour Light Ministries is seeking a Property Manager to lead facility operations, capital planning, and regulatory compliance across multiple sites in Toronto. The role ensures safety, maintenance, and adherence to funder requirements while coordinating with THQ and leadership teams.

Responsibilities include budgeting, capital project oversight, and managing contracts, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive facility operations, building maintenance, or property management experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, building automation, emergency power, life-safety, security, and water systems.
• Strong understanding of applicable building codes, fire codes, accessibility and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversees capital planning, budgeting, and reports to Executive Director.
• Manages facility operations, maintenance, and regulatory compliance across sites.
• Ensures fire safety, life-safety, and emergency readiness; coordinates inspections and readiness activities.
• Leads and trains property management staff; collaborates with leadership across programs.
• Maintains asset inventories, contracts, and capital replacement plans.
