Manitoba Government in Brandon is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to perform a variety of building and grounds maintenance duties at District 3 facilities. You will conduct lawn care, snow removal, cleaning, HVAC maintenance and safety inspections while participating in on-call rotations and possible overtime.
The role requires collaboration within a team and adherence to Workplace Safety and Health requirements, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth
Competenze
- Experience in general building and grounds maintenance.
- Possession of a relevant trade designation or trades certificate.
- Knowledge of health and safety policies and legislation.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Mansioni
- Perform lawn care, snow removal, cleaning and HVAC maintenance.
- Handle minor plumbing repairs and safety inspections.
- Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotation.
- Work overtime including evenings, weekends, holidays.
- Collaborate with team following safe work practices.
