MacLean Engineering & Marketing Co. Limited is seeking a Maintenance I to join our Facilities/Maintenance team at the Collingwood, ON facility. We are looking for an ambitious and progressive candidate to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines.

The Maintenance I position requires hands-on maintenance of plant machinery, general building upkeep, and safety compliance. You will maintain logs, assist with installation of new equipment, and support maintenance projects, with overtime

Qualifications

• Industrial Millwright certificate or equivalent.
• Experience in facilities/maintenance preferred.
• Valid forklift license or AWP license is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in service, repair and maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
• Perform general building maintenance including roof, walls, floors, plumbing and electrical work.
• Maintain logs and records of equipment and ensure up-to-date documentation.
• Assist in moving, installation and commissioning of new plant equipment.
• Support safety initiatives and address equipment-related safety concerns.
• Complete daily checklists and initiate purchase orders for parts.
• Overtime may be required to support facilities projects.

Salary Range: $24.25 To $30.95 Annually

Position: Maintenance I

Shifts Available: Afternoon Shift - 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. (4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday)

Location: Collingwood , ON

MacLean Engineering & Marketing Co. Limited is looking for Maintenance Ito join our Facilities/Maintenance team at our Collingwood, ON manufacturing facility. We are seeking an ambitious and progressive candidate to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines.

About the Position:The Maintenance Iposition requires the following proficiencies:

• Assist Facilities lead Hand with all service, repair and maintenance of plant machinery and equipment
• Perform general building maintenance of buildings and grounds that may include inspection, repair and maintenance of roof, windows, walls, floors, plumbing, electrical, air piping, utilities, fire protection and other structural components of facility
• Painting and law care of facility
• Maintain logs and records of equipment and ensure they are kept up to date
• Assist moving, installation and commissioning of new plant equipment or services
• Assist in addressing plant or equipment related safety concerns
• Ensure storage areas are maintained and kept in an orderly manner
• Complete daily checklists on equipment as required by the Maintenance Program
• Initiate purchase order requests for parts required to perform repair or maintenance responsibilities
• Overtime may be required in order to support facilities/maintenance projects
• Other duties as assigned

About You: The successful candidate has a positive attitude, is open minded, willing to learn and is flexible along with the following qualifications:

• Certificate of Qualification industrial Millwright as an Industrial Millwright, Maintenance Mechanic of Electrician is an asset
• Experience working in a Facilities/Maintenance department is an asset
• Valid forklift license, AWP license is an asset
• Able to self-start, and schedule priorities as assigned, working with minimal direct supervision
• Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office ( MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
