Job summary

Workada is seeking an experienced Director of Facilities and Maintenance to lead maintenance operations for a growing warehousing and distribution organization. You will report to the VP and oversee regulatory compliance, capital projects, and a high-performing maintenance team across multiple sites.

The role requires strong leadership, budget oversight, and hands-on operational excellence. Travel as needed to support sites and programs will be required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Facilities Management or related field required.
• Minimum 5+ years in facilities or maintenance management in warehousing, manufacturing, or distribution.
• Experience with maintenance budgets and asset management is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities and maintenance operations across multiple sites.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs, capital projects and asset reliability.
• Manage maintenance budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with OHSA, TSSA, CFIA, environmental and safety regs.
• Lead emergency response planning and continuous improvement efforts.
• Manage contractors, vendors and maintenance service providers.
• Coach, mentor and develop the maintenance team.
