Job summary

Canada's Wonderland is seeking a hands-on facilities/maintenance helper to assist in carpentry tasks across the park. The role involves building counters, signs and stands, using table saws and mitre saws, and supporting the maintenance team in various duties to ensure safe, clean work areas.

Candidates should be able to work at heights, in changing weather, and be available for flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays. Ontario driver’s license and CSA footwear are required.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work at heights and in varying weather.
• Ability to work independently and flex shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid Ontario Driver's license (class G/G2) with a clean abstract.
• Own CSA approved safety footwear.

Responsibilities

• Build small wooden structures including counters, signs and stands.
• Operate hand tools, table saw and mitre saw.
• Assist in installation and maintenance; keep work areas clean.
• Support full-time facilities maintenance team as needed.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and report issues.

• Perform minor maintenance and repair as required
• Operate various hand tools, table saw and mitre saw
• Assist in the installation of equipment or structures and keep all work areas clean and tidy
• Assist full-time facilities maintenance team in their duties
• Perform work within the carpentry shop, throughout the park and ride locations
• Adhere to all safety procedures and report any safety related problems to any full-time associate
• Assist with other duties as required
