Job summary

One Arrow First Nation is seeking a Building & Transportation Maintenance Worker to upkeep the Health Centre and fleet vehicles. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and basic vehicle care to ensure safety and reliability.

Responsibilities include responding to maintenance requests, scheduling vendor work, and completing admin tasks in line with organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of maintenance or related experience.
• Ability to perform routine building and fleet maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on building systems (plumbing, HVAC, electrical).
• Make minor repairs (locks, lighting, drywall, painting).
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of building, grounds, and parking areas.
• Respond to maintenance service requests for Home Care program facilities.
• Schedule service with vendors for non-routine tasks.
• Perform safety checks on fleet vehicles and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Record completed work on referral forms and adhere to policies.
