Job summary

Nee Tahi Buhn First Nation is seeking two motivated and dependable Maintenance Workers to join our Operations and Maintenance team, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. These positions maintain community infrastructure, housing, water and sewer systems, roads, grounds, and public facilities.

This is a hands-on role for individuals who enjoy physical work, problem-solving, and contributing to the well-being of the community.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of experience in maintenance, construction, groundskeeping, or related field.
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and general maintenance equipment.
  • Physically capable of lifting, carrying, standing, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repair work on community buildings, housing, and infrastructure.
  • Support the operation and upkeep of water and wastewater systems.
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as lawn mowers, weed trimmers, snow blowers, tractors, and skid steers.
  • Assist with groundskeeping, snow removal, road maintenance, and seasonal maintenance activities.
  • Conduct inspections and identify maintenance issues before they become larger problems.
