Job summary

The Waterloo Catholic District School Board invites applications for Supply Custodian roles serving elementary and secondary schools in the Waterloo Region. Supply Custodians work 10 to 40 hours per week Monday to Friday and may travel between schools.

This is a non-denominational position; Pastoral Reference is not required. Successful candidates will help maintain building cleanliness and safety, with duties including cleaning, floor care, snow removal, and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Previous commercial/industrial cleaning experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge (Word, Outlook, Excel) and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the building and grounds in all respects.
• Perform related duties as required for daily operations of the site.
• Assist with arranging physical set up for site rentals, in-school dances and activities.
• Maintenance of Logs and Files.
• Follow assigned cleaning schedules and safety procedures.
• Co-operates with colleagues, staff and students to foster positive working relationships.
