Job summary

HealthOne Medical & Wellness is a growing multi-disciplinary clinic located in Downtown Toronto, Harbourfront. We are seeking a Facilities Assistant to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.

You will support cleaning, laundry, restocking, and general upkeep across our clinic spaces. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented and service-minded, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of cleaning experience in a medical clinic, office, or commercial building.
• Hard-working, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time management in a busy clinic environment.
• Reliable self-starter able to follow instructions and work independently.
• Ability to stand, bend, crouch, walk, and lift 20–50 lbs when required.

Responsibilities

• Support cleaning and general maintenance of all clinic areas.
• Follow assigned cleaning schedules and approved clinic procedures.
• Empty garbage and recycling and assist with waste disposal.
• Refresh clinic areas and restock staff areas as needed.
• Assist with linen sorting, washing, drying, folding, and restocking.
• Receive, organize, and distribute deliveries as needed.
• Assist with basic inventory checks and communicate supply needs.
• Report general maintenance deficiencies and support minor repairs.
• Move small furniture or equipment and participate in organization projects.
• Work with the team to maintain a safe, welcoming, patient-ready environment.

About the Role

HealthOne is seeking aFacilities Assistant to be part of our dynamic, multidisciplinary team located in the heart of Downtown Toronto.

The Facilities Assistant plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming clinic environment for our patients and team members. This role supports the day-to-day needs of the clinic through cleaning, laundry, supply restocking, and general upkeep of clinic spaces.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, service-minded, and takes pride in creating a well-maintained environment that supports a positive patient experience.

Location: Harbourfront, Downtown

Employment Type: Full-time

Schedule

• 3 Weekdays (Monday–Friday): 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM

  2 Weekend Days (Saturday & Sunday): 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Reports To: Facilities Manager

Responsibilities

• Support cleaning and general maintenance of all clinic areas
• Follow assigned cleaning schedules and approved clinic cleaning procedures
• Empty garbage and recycling, and support proper clinic waste disposal procedures
• Complete regular spot checks and refresh clinic areas as needed
• Restock staff areas and common spaces as needed
• Support linen sorting, washing, drying, folding, and restocking
• Receive, organize, and distribute deliveries as needed
• Assist with basic inventory checks and communicate supply needs
• Report any general maintenance deficiencies
• Support minor repairs and preventative maintenance tasks as needed
• Assist with moving small furniture or equipment and organization projects as needed
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a safe, welcoming, and patient-ready environment
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager

Requirements

• Minimum of six months of cleaning experience in a medical clinic, office, or commercial building
• Hard-working, detail-oriented, and committed to doing a great job, while taking pride and ownership in the delivery of your work
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a busy clinic environment
• Reliable self-starter, with the ability to follow instructions while working independently
• Ability to support basic repairs and maintenance tasks
• Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and walk throughout your scheduled shift, as well as lift 20 to 50 lbs when required

Compensation

$20 to $26 per hour, based on experience
