A family-owned property management company is seeking a Facilities Administrator to support the maintenance team in Edmonton. The role involves auditing work orders, communicating with technicians, and managing administrative duties. As the Facilities Administrator, you will support the Maintenance team by reviewing work orders completed by on-site maintenance technicians. You will use tracking software to review closed work orders for completeness and accuracy, communicate with maintenance technicians to clarify notes, post charges for tenant-caused damages, and initiate Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) work. This role requires strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage the monthly workload, as well as support and coach colleagues when needed.
