Facilities Account Manager — Client & Projects Lead

Job summary

Maintain It is hiring a Facilities Account Manager to join our growing team in Mississauga. You will own work orders and projects end-to-end across client sites, lead estimating and budgeting, and manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

You’ll build and grow client relationships, coordinate cross-functional teams, and help optimize operational processes while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in facilities management or related service operations.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
• Experience preparing estimates, quotations, and budgets.
• Strong knowledge of building systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, interiors.
• Ability to read blueprints and project specs.
• Comfortable generating new business and expanding accounts.
• Experience sourcing and managing subcontractors and vendors.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized with multi-project management.
• Ownership mindset and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Own work orders and service projects end-to-end—from intake, planning, estimating, scheduling, execution, and close-out across multiple client sites.
• Lead estimating, quoting, and budgeting processes; review scopes, RFQs, PO's, invoices, and service documentation.
• Source, coordinate, negotiate, and manage vendors and subcontractors for competitive pricing and on-time delivery.
• Generate new client relationships by identifying prospects, promoting services, and converting opportunities into new business.
• Nurture and grow existing client accounts through proactive communication and relationship management.
• Act as primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive updates and exceptional customer experience.
• Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with standards.
• Support invoicing, AR/AP coordination, cost tracking, and project profitability; monitor timelines and risks.
