Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Service Technician to repair, service, and build hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems. Under direct supervision, you will disassemble components, diagnose issues, and prepare repair plans for customers.

Responsibilities include fabricating parts, wiring and testing repaired equipment, and assisting customers with technical questions or quotes. A high school diploma is typically required, with strong communication and safety awareness essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge helpful for repairs.
  • Ability to read hydraulic schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, clean, and inspect system components for repair.
  • Diagnose components and propose solutions to customers.
  • Prepare job forms listing parts and tasks for repairs.
  • Design, fabricate, machine, and weld parts as needed.
  • Repair hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Assemble new and repaired equipment and test performance.
  • Assist customers with technical questions and quotes.
