Job summary

ISCO Industries is seeking Fabricators for its Riverport, NS operation. Starting pay is $18+ per hour, with a Monday–Friday shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. You will fabricate and assemble polyethylene pipe components such as T's, Y's and elbows, reading drawings and using basic fabrication tools.

This entry-level role emphasizes quality control, teamwork and safety. Candidates must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, learn quickly, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Read and interpret blueprints, product drawings and pick ticket orders to determine materials, tools and equipment needed to complete work.
  • Basic tool knowledge and measuring skills required.
  • Able to lift up to 20-40 pounds.
  • Time management and attention to detail are important.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble polyethylene fabrication according to fabrication drawings.
  • Follow quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and orders to determine materials and tools.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and operate equipment properly.

Starting Pay: $18+/hour (depending on experience)

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00a - 2:30p

Fabricators are responsible for fabricating and assembling polyethylene pipe to create a variety of customized structures such as: T's, Y's, elbows, etc. Entry level fabricators would begin on small type fabrication with the capability of continuing onto more complex type work.

  • Assembly of small polyethylene fabrication in accordance to fabrication drawings.
  • Follows quality control procedures to ensure that the assembled, fabricated product meets customer specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, product drawings and pick ticket orders to determine materials, tools and equipment needed to complete work
  • Maintains clean work area and equipment; following safety procedures concerning use of equipment and materials to maintain safe working conditions
  • Willing and able to take work instruction, be a team player, take initiative, and have a positive attitude.
  • Ability to stand, bend and reach for extended periods of time.
  • Basic tool knowledge and measuring skills required.
  • Able to lift up to 20-40 pounds
  • Willing to listen to training, take initiative, and be a team player.
