ISCO Industries is a family-owned piping solutions provider specializing in HDPE, based in Louisville, KY, with operations offering competitive pay and benefits. In Riverport, Nova Scotia, we seek a fabricator to assemble polyethylene pipe and meet customer specs, with third shift and safety practices.

The role involves reading blueprints, following quality controls, lifting up to 40lbs, and operating fusion equipment, cranes, and forklifts, while maintaining clean work areas and accurate

Qualifications

• Experience fabricating and assembling polyethylene pipe.
• Ability to read blueprints and tickets.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, product drawings and ticket orders to determine materials, tools and equipment needed to complete work
• Follows quality control procedures to ensure that the assembled, fabricated product meets customer specifications
• Upholds accurate records of materials used on "ticket"; locates and pulls required materials from inventory
• Maintains clean work area and equipment; following safety procedures concerning use of equipment and materials to maintain safe working conditions
• Operates ISCO's fusion and fast fusion equipment, cranes and forklifts
• Utilizes a variety of hand tools, saws and cutting equipment and performs other related duties as assigned
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time

Pay Range: $19+/hour (Depending on Experience)

+ $2.00 shift differential for every hour worked on 3rd Shift

Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10:00p - 6:30a

Description

Fabricators are responsible for fabricating and assembling polyethylene pipe to create a variety of customized structures such as: fittings, valves, T's, Y's, elbows, aqua shields, geothermal vaults, manholes, dual containment units, pumps, gas aeration lines and similar structures that meet customer specifications by performing the following duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, product drawings and pic ticket orders to determine materials, tools and equipment needed to complete work
• Follows quality control procedures to ensure that the assembled, fabricated product meets customer specifications
• Upholds accurate records of materials used on "ticket"; locates and pulls required materials from inventory
• Maintains clean work area and equipment; following safety procedures concerning use of equipment and materials to maintain safe working conditions
• Operates ISCO's fusion and fast fusion equipment, cranes and forklifts
