Job summary

IPG in Manitoba is seeking a dependable Machine Operator to support fabric rewinding operations. You will thread machines, run rolls to the requested lengths, wrap and label finished rolls, and ensure accurate tagging to meet customer specifications.

You will perform quality checks, assist with cleanup, and handle scrap material while wearing required safety gear. A high school diploma or GED and prior machine-operator experience are preferred, along with attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Thread machine and rewind large rolls to meet requested lengths.
• Wrap and identify finished rolls and bundle or palletize as needed.
• Tag rolls for identification.
• Address flaws by rewinding and splicing as required.
• Conduct quality checks on material.
• Clean work area and maintain safety around the machine.
• Bundle and bale scrap material.
• Wear safety shoes and hearing protection at all times.
