Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a talented university student for an Intern, Extended Reality Programmer position (Winter 2027). You will contribute to a cross-disciplinary XR team by coding in C++, C#, and Swift, and by applying Unreal Engine, Unity, and ARKit/RealityKit to aerospace challenges.

You will help coordinate research projects with industry partners, support the creation of an XR lab at the Bombardier site, develop training guidelines, and present your findings to teams while working in a

Qualifications

Student in software/computer engineering or CEGEP with aerospace interest.
Proficient in C++, C#, and at least one engine (Unreal/Unity).
Knowledge of AR/VR toolchains and 3D modelling basics.
Strong collaboration and communication in a matrix team.

Responsibilities

Coordinate XR research projects with industry, academia and government partners.
Become an expert in new XR tech to support ongoing R&D programs.
Help establish an extended reality lab at the Bombardier site.
Define project frameworks using various devices (HoloLens, Oculus, Vive, Vision Pro).
Contribute to XR framework development, use-case support, and training guidelines.
Present achievements to teams and help generate new IP from innovations.
