Job summary

Oulton College invites applications for an Instructor in the Policing & Corrections Foundation (PCF) program. You will deliver engaging instruction, guide student progress, and maintain records while modeling best practices from policing, corrections and security fields.

The role requires graduation from a Policing and Corrections Foundation program or related post‑secondary program, along with 5+ years hands‑on experience as a Corrections Officer.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized Policing and Corrections Foundation program, or a related post‑secondary program.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience as a Corrections Officer.
• Previous teaching or training experience is an asset.
• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
• A passion for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring others.
• A commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and informative instruction to PCF students.
• Track and support student progress through regular feedback and evaluations.
• Maintain accurate records and attendance as per institutional policy.
• Provide hands‑on demonstrations and supervise student practice of techniques.
