Elk Valley Resources, part of the Glencore Group, is seeking motivated geoscientists to contribute to 2027 exploration drilling projects in Sparwood and Elkford, BC. The role focuses on planning, execution, safety, and collaboration across Mine Operations, Engineering & Geology, Health & Safety, and Contractor teams.

You'll supervise field activities, manage drilling data, and coordinate contractors to deliver high-quality results while upholding EVR’s standards and community engagement.

Competenze

• BS in Geology or related field with P.Geo./GIT eligibility in BC.
• 3+ years geoscience experience incl RC, Diamond core, or Sonic drilling in greenfields/brownfields.
• H2S Alive, BC Mine Supervisor and First Aid certificates required or obtainable at onboarding.
• Experience in geologic mapping, core logging, geochemical and geophysical applications is a plus.
• Coal geology experience is an asset.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.

Mansioni

• Support planning and execution of exploration and geoscience programs.
• Oversee field contractors and coordinate field activities.
• Coordinate drill site earthworks, drilling and sampling activities.
• Maintain EVR safety and environmental stewardship standards.
• Prepare program close-out and technical reports.
• Manage drilling and sampling data in EVR’s geological database.
