Elk Valley Resources (EVR) is seeking an Engineer or Engineer in Training, Mining, to develop and optimize mid-range plans at Elkview Operations in BC. You will design pits, spoil piles, and haul roads, and craft 2–5 year schedules while weighing sustainable development impacts.

Reporting to the Senior Engineering Supervisor, the Engineer or Engineer in Training, Mining, isresponsible for developing and optimizing strategic mid-range plans at Elkview Operations. The role involves executing all aspects of mid-range planningincluding pit, spoil, and haul road design optimizations, 2-5 year schedules, strategicevaluations, all while considering potential impacts to sustainable development. This role is anexcellent opportunity for an engineer looking to make a positive impact on the business.

This person has strong written, verbal, andinterpersonal communication skills and is dedicated to continuous improvement. Salary: $91,300 to $126,800 CAD/year
For applicants registered as an EIT or GIT, annual base salary will be determined by EVR's formal progression matrix based on verified relevant years of experience.
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
