Job summary

WSP is looking for an Experience Structural Engineer to deliver industrial structural projects from concept through construction from our Etobicoke office. You will lead the analysis and design of steel and concrete structures, mentor engineers, and sign off calculations in line with provincial requirements.

You will apply CSA standards and advanced software (STAAD, S-Frame, SAP2000) while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging with clients on strategy and risk management;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; a master’s degree is an asset.
• P.Eng license Ontario, or eligible to obtain it.
• Advanced experience in structural design within the industrial or mining sector.
• Proven expertise in steel and concrete structures and in technical project management.
• Strong knowledge of CSA standards, building codes, and advanced structural software (STAAD, S-Frame, SAP2000, etc.).
• Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and client relations.
• Ability to mentor and develop talent within the team.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $29.50 - $39.10 per hour

MB & ON: $26.90 – $37.10 per hour

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $26.60 - $35.40 per hour
