Job summary

The Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service is recruiting an Experienced Police Constable for a full-time permanent role in Strathroy-Caradoc. The successful candidate will patrol, protect lives and property, and enforce laws within the municipality.

Key duties include responding to calls for service, performing vehicle and equipment checks, and maintaining thorough occurrence reports. A valid Ontario driver’s license and BCT completion are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum OSSD or equivalent completed.
• Must have completed the Basic Constable Training (BCT) program at the Ontario Police College.
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification is required.
• Must hold a valid Class G Ontario Driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Uphold life and property protection within Strathroy-Caradoc.
• Respond to calls for service within your patrol area and surrounding locations.
• Record pertinent information at the start of each shift and maintain required documentation.
• Ensure equipment is signed out and returned in good condition.
