Position Overview:
We are seeking both Experienced Maintenance Mechanics and Apprentice Millwrights to join our maintenance team. As a part of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across the facility. Both experienced mechanics and motivated apprentices are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient operations and minimize interruptions.
  • Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

Experienced Maintenance Mechanic:

  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a similar field.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle a variety of maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on safety.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in an industrial or mechanical environment, or completion of technical coursework.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop Millwright skills.
  • Good understanding of mechanical systems and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with competitive wage.
  • Shift work may be required, including evenings and weekends during peak seasons.
  • Physical demands may include lifting to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods.

Compensation:

  • Hourly wage: $20.00 - $30.00+, depending on experience and position.
  • Opportunities for overtime pay.
  • Apprenticeship training support for eligible candidates.
  • CSA approved safety boot allowance.
