Cherish at Central Park in Langford, BC is seeking Server Specialists for a 4-month temporary contract. You will welcome residents, take meal orders, and serve with warmth in a welcoming dining room.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred (banquet dining, hospitality, or customer service).
• Passion for serving seniors and making a positive difference.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Food Safe Level 1 certification obtained within the past 12 months.

At Cherish at Central Park, our dining room is much more than a place to enjoy a meal—it's where friendships are built, stories are shared, and residents experience genuine hospitality every day. We're looking for Server Specialists to join our Hospitality Team on a 4-month temporary contract.

If you're looking for consistent full-time hours, or part time hours, enjoy working with seniors, and take pride in creating exceptional guest experiences, we'd love to meet you.

Typical Shift:

11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

What You'll Do:

• Welcoming residents with warmth, kindness, and professionalism.
• Taking meal orders accurately and serving food and beverages with care.
• Building meaningful relationships with residents through friendly conversation and attentive service.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting dining room.
• Clearing and resetting tables to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Assisting with special events, themed dinners, and celebrations.
• Communicating resident preferences and feedback to the culinary team.
• Working collaboratively with your teammates to deliver an exceptional hospitality experience.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in food service preferably with Banquet dining, hospitality, or customer service is considered an asset.
• A genuine passion for serving seniors and making a positive difference in someone's day.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
• The ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and safely lift up to 40 lbs.
• Level 1 Food Safe Certification (completed within the past 12 months).
