Cherish at Central Park in Langford, BC is hiring a Full-Time Dining Room Server in a senior living community. The role involves greeting patrons, taking orders, recommending wines, serving meals, and assisting with wine inventory and billing.

Location: Cherish at Central Park – Langford, BC

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $20/hour

Hours per week: 40

Join our hospitality team at Cherish at Central Park and help create a warm, respectful dining experience for our senior residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages.


• Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff.


• Recommend wines that complement patrons' meals.


• Serve food and beverages.


• Prepare and serve specialty foods at patrons' tables.


• Present bill to patrons and accept payment.


• May order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware.


• May perform sensory evaluation of wines.

Requirements

• Experience is an asset.


• Strong communication skills and a resident-first attitude.


• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.


• Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to exceptional service.


• Level 1 Food Safe Certification (Completed in the last 12 months).

Please note, this position is in a senior living community dining room. There are no tips, however, you are compensated with extended medical benefits.
