Job summary
R.J. Burnside & Associates Limited is seeking a seasoned leader to guide its transportation planning and traffic engineering practice in Ontario.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Transportation, you will shape strategy, pursue business development, and lead multi-office delivery. You’ll oversee complex projects from conception to completion, mentor a multidisciplinary team, and drive innovative, multi-modal transportation solutions across municipal contexts.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in transportation planning and traffic engineering.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager for large-scale transportation studies.
- A diverse portfolio of project experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Oversee project scope, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful delivery.
- Drive business development and proposal preparation.
- Mentor and develop a team of planners, engineers, and technical staff.
- Monitor project financial performance and team utilization.
- Contribute to annual business planning and strategic growth initiatives.
