Responsibilities
Tasks
- Establish operational procedures
- Implement procedures to prevent infection during special situations and outbreaks
- Select and purchase equipment and supplies
- Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and staff
- Inspect assigned areas
- Supervise staff
- Coordinate contract services
- Ensure safety standards and departmental policies are met
- Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals
- Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms
- Supervise in-house laundry services and coordinate their operations
- Schedule and assign duties to housekeeping staff
- Coordinate dry cleaning and valet services
- Respond to guest complaints
- Provide coaching
- Document work completed
- Coordinate, assign, and review work
- Proficiency in MS Office

- Manage more than 20 staff members
