Tasks
  • Establish operational procedures
  • Implement procedures to prevent infection during special situations and outbreaks
  • Select and purchase equipment and supplies
  • Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and staff
  • Inspect assigned areas
  • Supervise staff
  • Coordinate contract services
  • Ensure safety standards and departmental policies are met
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms
  • Supervise in-house laundry services and coordinate their operations
  • Schedule and assign duties to housekeeping staff
  • Coordinate dry cleaning and valet services
  • Respond to guest complaints
  • Provide coaching
