Job summary

CFMWS seeks a General Manager/Superintendent to lead all golf course operations, turf maintenance, and related recreation services. This role includes managing professional contracts, developing local marketing, and coordinating events with club committees to ensure profitability and member satisfaction.

The position requires a Bachelor's or college credential in a relevant field, plus experience in golf course management, budgeting, and facilities operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma with experience in golf course management or related field
• Valid Pesticide License required by end of probation
• Driver’s licence (Manitoba) considered an asset
• Provincial RSA certification as required
• Experience in marketing, budgeting, and supervising facilities or recreation operations

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, manage and evaluate all golf course operations and turf maintenance
• Develop and implement local marketing and promotional programs
• Work with club committees to prepare events and schedules
• Review operations and propose strategies to improve viability and profitability
• Manage contracts for golf professionals, recreation services and F&B operations
• Oversee asset management, procurement, and budgeting
• Coordinate food and beverage services and customer satisfaction surveys
