Job summary

Pilot Assessments is seeking an experienced Lead Captain & Flight Operations Manager in Vancouver. You will split line flying with operational leadership to ensure safe, seamless corporate travel while upholding a culture of excellence across the flight department.

As PIC on business jet missions, you will plan trips end-to-end, ensure FAA compliance, mentor crews, manage scheduling, coordinate with maintenance, and maintain manuals and regulatory records.

Qualifications

• Total Time: 5,000 hours minimum.
• Significant multi-engine turbine experience.
• Type Rating not required (training provided).
• English proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher.
• Work authorization: visa sponsorship not provided

Responsibilities

• Serve as PIC on business jet missions with uncompromising safety, compliance, and passenger care.
• Plan and execute trips end-to-end, including performance, fuel, weather, NOTAMs, and contingency planning.
• Provide day-to-day oversight of flight operations; lead, mentor, and brief flight crews to a consistent standard.
• Manage crew scheduling and roster integrity, ensuring compliance with FAA flight and duty time limitations.
• Coordinate with maintenance to assure aircraft airworthiness, MEL/CDL management, and timely defect resolution.
• Maintain and refine operational manuals, SOPs, and regulatory documentation.
• Champion safety management and risk mitigation, facilitating reporting, trend analysis, and safety meetings.
• Liaise professionally with executives, assistants, vendors, and FBOs; uphold discretion and executive presence at all times.
