Job summary

Anderson Air in Canada is seeking a Captain (PIC) to oversee the safe, efficient operation of our 604 private and 704 charter flights. You will lead flight crews, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain our high safety and service standards in a dynamic, client‑facing environment.

Candidates should have 3000 hours total, 1000 jet time, 250 PIC jet time, a Transport Canada ATPL, jet and corporate aviation experience, and the ability to travel outside Canada while based in Canada.

Qualifications

  • 3000 hours total time minimum.
  • 1000 hours jet time minimum.
  • 250 hours PIC jet minimum.
  • Transport Canada ATPL.
  • Jet experience required.
  • Corporate aviation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Pilot in Command (PIC) for 604 (Private, non-revenue) and 704 (Charter, revenue) non-scheduled Domestic and International flights.
  • Communicate effectively with crew, passengers and air traffic control.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to flight crews and collaborate with maintenance and dispatch.

The Role

As a Captain (PIC), you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our flights. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional service and ensuring compliance with all regulations. As a crucial member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in our continued success and reputation in the industry.

Duties will be primarily associated with operating 604 (Private, non-revenue) passenger flights, and operating 704 (Charter, revenue) non-scheduled Domestic and International passenger flights.

Flight Safety and Compliance:
  • Assume responsibility for the safe conduct of each flight, ensuring the highest level of safety for passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
  • Adhere to all aviation regulations, company policies, and procedures, including those outlined in the operations manual.
Flight Operations:
  • Serve as the Pilot in Command (PIC) for both 604 (Private, non-revenue) and 704 (Charter, revenue) non-scheduled Domestic and International passenger flights.
  • Communicate effectively with the crew, passengers, and air traffic control to ensure smooth operations and timely departures and arrivals.
Leadership and Teamwork:
  • Provide clear guidance, instructions, and support to the flight crew, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and dispatch, to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues or concerns.
