Job summary

National Bank of Canada seeks a (Senior) Director, Credit Execution in its Technology & Innovation Banking group. Lead the credit execution for technology financing across Canada, guiding covenant monitoring, structuring, and risk reviews while ensuring first-time-right submissions to Credit Risk.

You will mentor junior team members, collaborate with internal partners, and support strategic growth of tech-focused lending across Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field with several years of relevant experience.
• Experience with complex commercial lending and acquisition financing.
• Experience analyzing complex financial models.
• Client service, negotiation, and business development experience.
• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of financing relationships with technology companies.
• Perform monthly credit reviews and reporting for leadership.
• Own the full credit execution process including covenant monitoring and structuring.
• Review loan documentation for compliance with adjudicated parameters.
• Present credit files for adjudication with accuracy and first-time-right quality.
• Coordinate with Credit Risk, Risk Management Solutions, Account Officers and Operations.
